There are only two shades in the recent Rimmel Precious Stones Collection set of polishes from, with Diamond Dust being my only pick of the couple. There is a sparkly, ruby red, but I haven't got my hands on that one yet. Seeing how beautiful they are, I wish there were a few more options.
The formula is so saturated with different sized chunks of glitter, that you only need two coats to get a fully opaque effect. But, I have to say, I am slightly disappointed by the finish of this polish, as it is so chunky and rough. It doesn't look anywhere near as beautiful as it does in the bottle! Without a top coat, the sparkle seems to be quite dulled down. A slick of top coat is definitely recommended to give this polish a more sleek finish. As with most glitter polishes, it is difficult to remove and can be a pain, but I only really use glitter polishes when my talons are false.
The Precious Stones polishes are £3.99 for 8ml. All Rimmel nail varnishes are cheap and cheerful as it is a drugstore brand, but the quality of them is pretty good considering other drugstore brands have awful quality nail products, naming no names of course.
Which nail polishes are you planning on wearing for this festive season?
