Although they may not be the prettiest sandals ever, I'm currently wanting a pair of Fitflops and these Lulu Shimmer Casual Sandals have caught my eye. Cleverly, they give your legs and bum more of a workout as you walk, helping to tone up any jiggly bits. A friend of mine swears by these and says they're not only comfortable, but that she can definitely feel the burn (in a good way) after wearing them all day, too. Plus, the thicker sole will give me a few, extra inches in height, which is only a good thing!

For walking down to the beach and popping to a restaurant for some lunch in between sunbathing sessions, this New Look White Textured Crochet Trim Kaftan will be perfect. The drawstring at the waistline is so flattering and white looks so good with a tan. For more of a colorful cover-up, this Lipsy Water Colour Beach Playsuit is also gorgeous.

I love wearing statement prints in the summer and Ted Baker do them so well. With the bright, floral pattern and scalloped edges, the Ted Baker Pure Peony Bikini Top & Bottoms are super cute. The fact that they have adjustable tie-strings means that the set won't dig into your skin, too.

The gorgeous, Parker Howl Shorts actually have a palm print on them, but as it's quite abstract, the pattern is only subtle. Paired with a simple, plain tee, they'd look amazing. Keeping with the same theme, as soon as I spotted the Missguided Palm Print Tie-Front Playsuit, I knew I had to have it. Not only am I in love with the peach and blue colour combo, but the plunging neckline makes it a flirty choice for an evening of sipping cocktails and dancing the night away.

Crochet seems to be everywhere at the moment, but I quite like the idea of accessorizing with it. This Ale by Alessandra Vela Crochet Bag is big enough to tote around everything you need, whilst still looking chic. It may be too precious to risk getting covered in sand, though!

Finally, we have the most extravagant item of my picks. The Linda Farrow LFL13612 Mink Acetate Sunglasses are a definite 'window shopping' item, for me. All of her designs are quirky and a little more exciting than the usual styles on the market, but they aren't cheap. Cat-eye shapes suit my face the most, but these are subtle and not too exaggerated. The mink acetate is a softer alternative to standard black and dark brown frames, too.
