I love to shop all year round - I mean, who doesn't? For some reason though, I get most excited for hitting the stores and browsing online as we approach autumn. Layering up in varying textures and piling on as much black clothing as possible is totally my style, so being able to rock cosy jumpers, skinny jeans and heeled boots once again, just makes me so happy. Here's what I'm currently itching to get my hands on, to kit me out ready for A/W.
I'm all about understated, gold jewellery, especially when wearing a lot of black. This & Other Stories Winding Brass Cuff is so simple with the plain metal and clean lines, but it will add a touch of light and sparkle to darker outfits, without being over the top.
As soon as I spotted this Whistles Flamingo Sweat, it went straight to the top of my to-buy list. Although the style of the jumper is quite plain and has a classic shape that reminds me of gym classes at primary school, the cute design makes it a bit more fun and prevents it from looking frumpy.
I really feel the cold, so scarves are a total essential for me, from September onwards. Although my collection is already overflowing, it would be rude not to purchase the Ted Baker Rache Monochrome Check Skinny Tassle Scarf, considering I'm missing a monochrome option.
Jeans are such a staple piece of any wardrobe; a good quality pair that fit like a glove can last through years of wear, so I'm willing to spend a bit more on my denim. Two brands are on my radar, at the moment. For an indigo pair, I have my eye on the Prima Skinny style from AG Jeans. With the brand's stretch contour 360º denim and lighter markings designed to create illusions of shadow and light and a shapely silhouette, this pair will be particularly flattering.
I'm also lusting after the entire Paige Jeans range, with the ultra cool Edgemont Zip Jeans in Coated Black Silk being my favourite. More special than a standard, black pair, the zips and coated texture give them a rock n' roll vibe. Whether adding some edge to chunky knits, or being paired with some killer heels for a night-out, these jeans are so versatile and a great option during party season.

With the UK's rain, wind and general, miserable weather that is inevitable during autumn, a lightweight jacket is essential for when it isn't quite chilly enough for a thick coat. Half-way between a trench and duster, this Topshop Longline Lightweight Trench Coat is so timelessly chic and a twist on the traditional trench. Easy to wear, it can be thrown over any outfit to smarten it up, without being restrictive.
As I'm somewhat unlucky in the height department (petite, shall we say), I always like my boots to have a heel. Comfort is a major necessity, though. Kurt Geiger always impress me with their designs and, after trying on a pair of their Scarlett Boots and falling in love, last weekend, I have to go back and make the purchase. Not only is the heel the perfect height to make them easy to walk in for hours, but they give you that instant rush of feel-good confidence, as soon as you slip them on. This fawn/taupe colour-way is just so gorgeous, too.

Gorgeous wishlist hun, I really love the look of the winding brass cuff and I agree it’s so simple but will definitely brighten up any outfit :) The scarf is so cute, and I love checked patterns so this would be great for the Autumn :)

So gorgeous, isn't it? :) x
DeleteThat gold (brass?) cuff is absolutely gorgeous! While it can be classified as a dainty piece of jewellery, I do think that it's unique design, like you said, can elevate any outfit without being too overpowering; I'm smitten! The lightweight trench, too, is absolute beautiful! While we don't get autumn where I reside, I've been looking for a thin trench just because trenches are timeless and chic; what girl wouldn't want a pair?!

Exactly! Trenches are such a classic and never go out of style, so they're an investment piece that'll last for years :) x
