After an absolute scorcher of a weekend and finally booking a holiday for the end of June, I'm well and truly in summer mode. Forget black tights, coats, jumpers and umbrellas (for another 24 hours, at least), I've packed away all my winter staples and have been on the hunt for some new additions to my wardrobe.
If you know me well, then you may know I have a slight obsession with flamingos. And so it only makes sense to mention these ridiculously cute Topshop Flamingo Stud Earrings. They may teeter on the edge of tacky, but Summer is the ideal time for fun, novelty pieces and it'd be rude to say no when they're under £5!
My favorite colour to inject some life into my summer wardrobe is coral, as it always boosts the look of a tan and suits my darker hair. Not only do I love the peachy shade of this ASOS Textured Double Layer Mini Wiggle Dress, but it's one of those versatile pieces that I know I'll get so much wear out of, whether dressing it up with heels and a clutch, or keeping it casual with flats and some simple jewellery.
Sandals are an absolute must-have for Summer and Jones Bootmaker has a gorgeous selection to suit everyone's taste, with so many pairs currently on offer. For a laid-back but put-together look, I think the Klaus Flat Sandals are perfect. The fringing fits with the current trends and the gold details make them a bit more special than your average pair. Styled with jeans and a plain, white tee, they'd look so lovely and there's four colourways to choose from if khaki isn't your thing.
As soon as I spotted this amazing NBD Lifted Romper when browsing Revolve, I instantly swooned. Whilst playsuits are a pain when you need to go to the bathroom, I love how practical they are during Summer. Instead of sacrificing a pretty outfit, with the worry that your skirt will blow up in the wind, you have the look of a dress with the comfort and protection of shorts. The v-neck cut and cinched-in waistband prevents the floaty material from drowning your figure, but the shorts are long enough that you won't be flashing your bum to everyone behind you.
Seeing as I'm still not past the blogger-cliched obsession with rose gold, especially when it's paired with grey, I absolutely adore this DKNY Soho Rose Gold Watch. I don't usually wear them very often, but this simple, chic design is understated and would look good with any outfit. If my pick isn't to your taste, then you can check out the rest of the beautiful DKNY range that Babla's has to offer.
I'm sure I'm not the only one who decides to scale up their health and fitness regime as soon as the weather starts to heat up and the time comes to flash the flesh some more. To keep me motivated to work up a sweat on the regular, investing in a pair of the gorgeous Varley Marble Full Length Mesh Insert Leggings is a wise decision, surely? It would be a crime to ignore that beautiful, marble print (blogger cliche #2)!
For balmy evenings out or when you want more of a glam, daytime look, then the Jones Bootmaker Jebediah Heeled Sandals are ideal. Tan shades always replace black for me, during summer, so I'm such a fan of the colour, as well as the distressed leather finish and silver embossing of these shoes. The chunky, medium heel and strap will help them to stay comfortable when worn all day and the peep-toe ensures they're more of a sandal than a winter boot.
Unless I hit the jackpot, then the absolutely dreamy Beach Riot Diamond Moonshine Swimsuit will remain just an image on my computer screen. But hey, a girl can dream, right? With the structured bustier to hold you in place, the shape is so flattering and prevents the swimsuit from looking frumpy. I adore anything with a digital print like this and the cut-out, macrame sections make the design even more sexy.
I prefer to switch up my boring, black bags for lighter and brighter colours as soon as we hit May. Not only is the raspberry red shade of the Vivienne Westwood Opio Saffiano Mini Handbag so fun, but the size is perfect to fit all your essentials. Made from a textured leather, the bag will be more durable and won't show little marks and scratches as easily as softer leather, too. Vivianne Westwood Bags are a great, affordable option if you want a designer piece, but the quality remains so high and there are so many lovely designs to choose from, whether you like eccentric and quirky styles or something smart and simple.

I know, I don't mind investing in really great quality swimwear that will last over the years, but even that is too much for me to warrant spending unfortunately! Oh well, a girl can dream! x
