Lucy Lace Up Open Toe Heels*
I'm still a big fan of the lace-up trend when it comes to shoes, so it's no surprise that the Lucy boots caught my attention first. For anyone that likes to find dupes or imitations of designer pieces, then this style has a Balmain vibe going on, but at a fraction of the price. I don't actually own any other open-toe boots, but I've been after some to pair with leather trousers. What I love most about A/W style, is mixing up textures and these boots are perfect for that with the faux suede finish, criss-crossed lacing and gold detailing. Despite coming up past the ankle, thanks to the stripe of skin showing through when they're worn with bare legs, these boots don't cut off the legs or make them look stumpy. But, they look equally cool with a pair of black tights, too. The heel is slim and rounded, but not so thin that it makes the shoes difficult to walk in.

Selyse Slim Heel Over The Knee Boots*
Thigh-high boots are such a staple for A/W as they're so versatile, so I always like to have a pair in my collection at this time of year. Whether worn with jeans and a casual tee, or with a killer dress, they make any outfit look more pulled together, whilst keeping you warm at the same time. I always worry that over the knee boots will look too baggy over my slim legs, but the Selyse style hug them perfectly and don't fall down at all during wear. The heel is half way between chunky and slim, so its flattering, but thick enough that the boots are comfortable and easy to balance in. Although the heel looks quite high, they don't feel it at all thanks to the slight platform and I can happily wear them all night long, without any pain or blistered feet.
Laura Angled Heel Ankle Boot*
For my final pair, I thought I'd pick more of a statement shoe. EGO's Laura design has an angular, rose-gold heel that is every blogger's dream. As it's quite a fat, sculpted heel, the boots are so comfortable and can easily be worn during a busy day. As my style is quite simple and I wear mostly neutral colours, I stuck with the classic, black pair. But, being patent, the material is a bit more quirky than standard leather and adds another interesting texture to any outfit. These boots also reach past the ankle, which may not be the most flattering cut for everyone, but I find wearing them with black tights or jeans and with a slightly shorter dress/skirt helps to keep the legs looking long. Do be careful with the mirrored heels, though, as I have a slight scuff on one of mine from slipping on some outdoor steps and bashing the heel! Fortunately, it's barely noticeable!
This was my first experience with EGO Shoes and I have to say that I'm so impressed with the brand. With so many gorgeous, on-trend styles to choose from, you're spoilt for choice and, despite the designs being so affordable, the quality is really high for the price. All of the boots I chose fit so well and they all look ten times better in person than they even do on the website. Even the packaging is beautiful (marble and blush pink boxes) and the shoes are packed so well that they don't lose their shape and should arrive in perfect condition. Since this recent order, I've been eying up a few more styles on their website, so I'm sure it won't be long until I'm raving about a few more additions to my wardrobe!
Have you bought any A/W boots recently?

Wow, these are all such pretty boots! I'd definitely wear them on occasions other than Halloween, haha :)

DeleteI love all of the boots you picked out! I am really struggling to find a pair of over the knee boots which don't fall down when I walk so these sound perfect! x

This pair are honestly amazing and worth a try! One of the most comfortable pairs I've tried (I've worn them for numerous night out and they haven't caused me any pain at all) and the great price point is a bonus! x
