Gift Ideas: L'Occitane Gift Set Guide

l'occitane summer gift set guide for all budgets

I always tend to think about gift guides most around Christmas time, always forgetting that I buy birthday presents all year round. And boy, I seem to know everyone born during the summertime! Recently, I've had quite a few gifts to buy and the great range of L'Occitane gift sets have definitely come to the rescue. So, I thought I'd put together a little edit of my favourites, that should suit all budgets and tastes.

AD - This post is in collaboration with L'Occitane

First up, I thought I'd include a couple of sets that are well-suited to the summer season and would make great gifts that someone could take away on holiday or a weekend trip.

The gorgeous Shea Summer Rescue Collection is made up of a lovely selection of miniatures packed into a lovely toiletry bag, including their Ultra Rich Shower Cream, Body Lotion, Shampoo and Conditioner, the Shea Butter Hand Cream and Soap. This little set costs £22, but is worth £27 and would make a nice introduction to the brand for anyone that hasn't tried L'Occitane before. As all the products within the Shea Butter collection are aimed at nourishment and repair, it's a set that will keep sun-drenched skin hydrated and healthy-looking. The scent is only delicate, so it's also a great choice for anyone with sensitive skin, or that isn't keen on using products that are strongly-fragranced. A similar set is also available in the brand's iconic almond scent, too.

With summer, comes a whole host of festivals to attend. And L'Occitane have any campers covered with their Festival Beauty Essentials gift set. This set is even better value for money, as it's worth £28.50 yet only costs £21. Containing all the beauty essentials for spending a weekend in a tent, the cute pink pouch is filled with mini versions of L'Occitane's Precious Light Cream SPF 20, Verbena Refreshing Towelettes, Lavender Hand Gel and Ultra Rich Lip Balm. Even if your loved-one isn't planning to attend any festivals, these products would make great handbag/travel essentials.

If you'd prefer to give someone a set of full-sizes, then L'occitane have some real gems on offer, whether you have a limited budget or spare no expense.

If you really want to treat someone, then look no further than the Regenerating Divine Trilogy. All packed up in a beautiful rose-gold box, this anti-aging skincare trio would make an incredible gift for more mature ladies that love to indulge in luxurious skincare. Containing a serum, moisturiser and eye cream, these award-winning and patented products work to firm, lift and rejuvenate the skin. It is pricey, but if you know someone already loves the Divine range, or has been interested in trying it, then it would be perfect!

Personally, the Almond Supple Skin Duo would be my dream gift from L'Occitane. The Almond Shower Oil and Supple Skin Oil are already huge favourites of mine, especially at this time of year. They both leave the skin feeling so soft and nourished, with a healthy, sexy sheen. Ideal when you're flashing a bit more skin in the hotter weather and want your pins to look extra polished!

Don't be fooled - L'Occitane cater for men, too. The neutral scent of the Shea Butter range would be great for guys and gals alike, but I know that many men prefer to use products that contain more of a masculine fragrance, so the sets aimed specifically at men are ideal.

Shaving is as much of a chore for men as it is for women, so L'Occitane's Cedrat Shaving Duo is bound to make the job more enjoyable. This little duo, which includes the Cedrat Shaving Gel and After-Shave Cream Gel, will really nourish the skin to leave it super soft and smooth. The Cedrat scent is really fresh and citrusy. But, this duo also comes in a richer, smokier scent (L'Occitan) or a woodier, spicier scent (Cade).

I've actually bought the Men's Travel Shower Collection for my boyfriend before heading on holiday previously and it went down a storm. Featuring four different hair and body washes, it's a simple kit that gives them a chance to try a variety of L'Occitane scents, so you really can't go wrong with it. For guys that don't like any fuss when it comes to their beauty routine, this should be a bit of a step-up from the basics, without being intimidating or too fancy. Hopefully they'll find a new favourite!

Have you tried any of L'Occitane's gift sets before?
